For the 119th time, NC State and Wake Forest are set to clash on the gridiron, marking the nation’s second-longest running continuous rivalry in college football. The Demon Deacons will welcome the Wolfpack to Allegacy Stadium on Thursday night (7:30 p.m., ESPN) in Winston-Salem. Both teams are 2-0 entering the ACC opener, although Wake Forest has yet to play a power conference team with wins over Kennesaw State and Western Carolina to begin the Jake Dickert era.  To get a better understanding of this season’s Demon Deacons, TheWolfpacker.com caught up with Deacons Illustrated’s Conor O’Neill, who covers the team for the On3 Network.
