NC State football view from the other beat: Week 5 vs. Virginia Tech

NC State is back home at Carter-Finley Stadium to welcome its first ACC opponent to Raleigh as Virginia Tech visits on Saturday night (7 p.m., The CW).  The Hokies, which fired coach Brent Pry less than two weeks ago, is set to open conference play against the Wolfpack with interim coach Philip Montgomery at the helm. Virginia Tech opened the year 0-3 but it knocked off Wofford 38-6 to finally find the win column this fall.
