NC State posted another come-from-behind win as it stormed back to down Wake Forest 34-24 on Thursday night at Allegacy Stadium to open ACC play. As the Wolfpack battled back from a 14-point deficit, it played a season-most eight true freshmen in the process, valuable game experience for the team’s young players.  The Pack has consistently played true freshmen this season, and it introduced freshman linebacker LaCorian Hodge to the mix as he made his collegiate debut in Winston-Salem. It’s important to note that players can appear in up to four regular season games and still retain their redshirt. We will track those numbers each week. Here’s a look at how the Wolfpack’s true freshmen played in the win over the Demon Deacons.
