NC State freshman report: Who played in the win loss at Duke, breaking down each performance

NC State wasn’t able to post its third straight comeback victory as Duke was able to fend off the Wolfpack in a 45-33 result Saturday afternoon at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham. Although the Pack lost for the first time this season, it tied its season most with eight true freshmen to see game action, including defensive lineman Adrian Farrow’s college debut on special teams. Quarterback Will Wilson, meanwhile, scored his first two career touchdowns in the defeat as he continues to find success in his short-yardage role this fall. It’s important to note that players can appear in up to four regular season games and still retain their redshirt. We will track those numbers each week. Here’s a look at how the Wolfpack’s true freshmen played in the loss to the Blue Devils.
