NC State is set to play a game outside of North Carolina for the first time this season as it visits Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon (3:30 p.m., Peacock). Although the all-time series is tied at two apiece, the Wolfpack has lost its previous pair of meetings with the Irish.  But before NC State and Notre Dame face off, it’s time to post five bold predictions for this weekend’s game. We will check to see how they did ahead of the Wolfpack’s trip to Pittsburgh following the open week. Looking back at last week’s edition, I got two of the five correct as sophomore quarterback CJ Bailey threw for more than 300 yards and NC State’s defense had less than eight missed tackles in its 56-10 win over Campbell.
