NC State Friday 5: Bold predictions ahead of Virginia Tech matchup

NC State is ready to get back in front of another sold-out crowd at Carter-Finley Stadium as Virginia Tech visits on Saturday night (7 p.m., The CW).  Before the Hokies and Wolfpack square off, it’s time to post five bold predictions for this weekend’s game. We will check on how they did ahead of next weekend’s home tilt with Campbell. Looking back on last week’s iteration of bold predictions, we only got one of them correct as redshirt sophomore running back Hollywood Smothers rushed for 123 yards in the 45-33 loss at Duke.
