Trivette isn’t just a basketball player. The four-sport athlete also won the Class 3 2025 state titles in shotput and discus, the latter of which she broke a 1985 school record with a 131-foot, 9-inch toss this spring. Trivette, who became the first-ever discus state champion from her high school, also plays soccer and volleyball at the high school level.
Before picking NC State, Trivette held offers from nearly two dozen Division I programs including James Madison, Virginia and Wake Forest — three programs she took official visits to during her recruitment.
