NC State legacy ‘27 TE prospect Griffin Cockerham earns ‘dream’ offer from Wolfpack

To say NC State football runs in his blood would be an understatement. His paternal grandfather Vance Cockerham was a Wolfpack center in the 1960s, while his uncle Terry Harvey was a two-sport athlete as a pitcher and quarterback in the 1990s and his cousin, Andrew Harvey, was a quarterback in 2020 and 2021.  So when Raleigh (N.C.) Cardinal Gibbons tight end Griffin Cockerham, a 2027 prospect, earned an offer from NC State coach Dave Doeren in late-June, it felt like it was meant to be.
