NC State men’s basketball is just weeks away from opening the Will Wade era in Raleigh. The Wolfpack’s 21st coach in program history is looking to breathe new life into the squad this season with his new-look roster and unapologetic approach this winter.

The Pack’s 2025-26 schedule will test Wade’s new roster, headlined by Texas Tech transfer forward Darrion Williams and top-20 freshman Matt Able, including three power conference opponents in December.

Here’s a look at the Wolfpack’s full slate.

Notes on the 2025-26 schedule

– NC State’s non-conference slate has been out for a while, but it’s not an easy one. Wade and his staff built a slate that will challenge the program ahead of ACC play. December will be telling for the Pack as it will play its first road game at Auburn — looking to snap a 14-game losing streak in true road games — before Kansas and Ole Miss make their way to Raleigh and Greensboro, respectively. The Pack has an opportunity to make a statement in the final month of non-conference play.

– The Wolfpack will spend plenty of time on the road in January. NC State has five games away from the Lenovo Center, while it has just three home games over that span.

– NC State has to wait to play North Carolina and Duke until the end of the season. The Pack’s battle with the Tar Heels doesn’t come until Feb. 17 or 18, while its home date with the Blue Devils is its penultimate regular season game.
