No. 4 NC State wrestling vs. No. 9 Oklahoma State: How to watch, stream

After nine months since it wrestled at Reynolds Coliseum, No. 4 NC State wrestling is back in action in the friendly confines of the Old Barn. The Wolfpack is set to host No. 9 Oklahoma State in a highly-anticipated match between the pair of top-10 programs. 

NC State has not wrestled since the Collegiate Duals in Nashville on Dec. 19, where the Pack won two of its three matches. NC State beat Lock Have and No. 25 Northern Iowa before it fell in a tight match against No. 10 Ohio State. 

Oklahoma State, meanwhile, won at Wyoming 31-9 on Dec. 19 in its last time on the mat against an opponent. 

Here are all the details ahead of the nationally-ranked contest in Raleigh. 

What time does the match start?

NC State vs. Oklahoma State begins at 7 p.m. ET.

What television channel is the NC State match on?

The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

NC State vs. Oklahoma State match notes

*** This will be the ninth all-time meeting between the Cowboys and Wolfpack. It started at a neutral site competition in 1990 before a home and home agreement began in the early 2000s. Wolfpack coach Pat Popolizio wrestled for the Cowboys from 1997-2002, and he is 1-2 against his alma mater. 

*** NC State hosted Oklahoma State in 2015, but lost 20-12. The Pack beat the Cowboys in Stillwater, Okla. in a 19-15 decision during the 2016 season. The last time the two teams competed against each other came in Naples, Italy, a 19-16 win for Oklahoma State. 

*** Each bout has the opportunity to be between two ranked wrestlers for the entire match. NC State boasts five wrestlers inside the top-5 of their respective weight classes. Jackson Arrington is No. 3 at 149 pounds in InterMat’s rankings, while Ryan Jack is No. 4 at 141 pounds, Trent Hidlay is No. 4 at 197 pounds and Ed Scott is No. 5 at 157 pounds.
