With NC State back in its winning ways as it rides a three-game winning streak, the Wolfpack are back on the road to face No. 12 Tennessee in the Basketball Hall of Fame San Antonio neutral site contest on Saturday night. 

The Pack is 3-0 in December, and it enters the contest with a 7-2 record. The Volunteers, meanwhile, arrive in Texas with a 7-3 mark with a pair of quadrant one wins this season.

***  NC State boasts 11 ranked wins under coach Kevin Keatts, and the Pack was 2-2 against top-25 teams a year ago. The red and white beat No. 16 Duke and No. 16 Miami last season in Raleigh. NC State’s last ranked win outside of Raleigh came at No. 21 Virginia in 2021, while its last neutral floor win over a top-25 squad came over No. 2 Arizona at the 2017 Battle 4 Atlantis.

*** The Wolfpack is 17th in the NCAA in turnover margin at +4.8 this season. NC State has forced an average of 14.4 turnovers per game, while giving the ball away just 9.7 times a contest. 

*** While the Pack has a balanced offense, junior guard Jayden Taylor is the team’s leading scorer at 14.7 points a game. Graduate forward DJ Burns and graduate guard DJ Horne check in right behind Taylor with 13.3 points a contest for NC State.
