Following a football NIL celebration event that raised nearly $700,000 earlier this year, NC State’s Pack of Wolves and Savage Wolves collectives are hosting a basketball-specific event Thursday evening, Nov. 16, at PNC Arena.

Pack of Wolves put together another live auction and dinner meant to support both the men’s and women’s programs. During this event, with and expected crowd around 200 total attendees, the collectives will auction off a round of golf with women’s basketball coach Wes Moore, court-side seats and other exclusive opportunities. The full event will take place from 6-10 p.m..

Per a Pack of Wolves spokesperson, all of the money raised from this event will go towards supporting NC State’s basketball teams.

Coaches and players from both the men’s and women’s programs will be there alongside some of the best players in Wolfpack history.

Here are some of the expected attendees:

  • David Thompson
  • Dereck Whittenburg
  • Tommy Burleson
  • Rodney Monroe
  • Monte Towe
  • Tom Gugliotta
  • Nate McMillan
  • Chucky Brown
  • Scott Wood
  • Ralston Turner
  • Richard Howell
  • Ben McCauley

Pack of Wolves and Savage Wolves are offering two tiers of access for this event: a regular ticket and a VIP experience. The former costs $625 and includes a seat at a table with a current or former member fo the basketball program, dinner and access to the silent and live auctions. A VIP ticket, priced at $1,250, includes all of the same perks and access to a meet and greet and an open practice before the event.

Table sponsorships are also available for $10,000.

In addition to the auction events, the organizers are also selling a “fly away” opportunity with the men’s basketball team. For $5,000 per person, fans can accompany the Wolfpack on its Nov. 21-24 trip to Las Vegas.

Per the event’s website, this experience includes “round-trip airfare with the team for two, luxurious accommodations, tickets to each game at Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay, and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences with your favorite Wolfpack players!”

NC State’s Savage Wolves collective is primarily focused on NIL deals within the football program right now, but Pack of Wolves already has existing contracts with every scholarship member of both basketball teams.

“The NC State Basketball Celebration will bring back admired alumni to join with current players and coaches to provide an entertaining evening for fans,” Pack of Wolves general manager Chris Vurnakes said in a statement. “Guests will enjoy a thrilling live auction and a chance to hear from David Thompson. All Wolfpack fans, in attendance or not, may participate in the event raffle and silent auction featuring priceless experiences!”
