NC State will host Castaic (Calif.) SoCal Academy three-star center Trevon Carter-Givens for an official visit this fall, TheWolfpacker.com has been told.

The nation’s No. 105 player in the 2026 cycle will be on campus in Raleigh on Sept. 5, which coincides with NC State home football game against Virginia on Sept. 6. In addition to his official with the Wolfpack, Carter-Givens will also take a trip to San Diego State for an official on Sept. 11.

Carter-Givens played in front of Wolfpack coach Will Wade at Nike EYBL’s Peach Jam event earlier this month, earning an offer from the first-year coach in the process. He impressed nearly everyone in the gym with his ability to defend around the rim with his 6-foot-10, 200-pound frame.

The center and his 7-foot-5 wingspan averaged 6.2 points with 5.3 rebounds on a 72.9 percent shooting percentage in 14 games on the EYBL circuit this year. At Peach Jam alone, Carter-Givens ranked second in field goal percentage (73.3) and blocks per game (2.3) and third in two-point percentage (73.3) among every player to play in the prestigious event.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Carter-Givens rise in the next Rivals300 rankings after a strong Peach Jam showing, but he made his debut on the list in April. The center will be a prospect to watch as his reclassified senior season plays out as an original member of the 2025 cycle, but NC State appears to be prioritizing him at center, at the moment.

Carter-Givens appears to be the first confirmed official visitor in the 2026 class of the Wade era in Raleigh. He also holds offers from Creighton, Florida State, New Mexico, TCU, UNLV, USC and Washington among others.
