NC State vs. Georgia Tech kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. Matt Schumacker (play-by-play), Sam Acho (analyst) and Taylor Davis (sideline) will be on the call.

NC State vs. Georgia Tech game notes
– NC State trails Georgia Tech 11-21 in the overall series, including a 7-9 mark in those held in Raleigh. This the first meeting at Carter-Finley Stadium since 2020, a Wolfpack 23-13 win. That was just the second win over the Yellow Jackets at home since 2000.
– This is the Wolfpack’s first battle with a top-10 opponent at home since NC State beat No. 9 Clemson, 27-21, in double overtime. That coach Dave Doeren’s only win over a top-10 foe in his tenure in Raleigh.
– Redshirt sophomore running back Hollywood Smothers leads the ACC with 825 yards, which is the sixth-best mark in the FBS this fall. His 103.1 yards per game is also the best mark in the conference, while it’s 10th nationally. Smothers is eighth in NC State history in career rushing yards per game with 73.5 yards per game, while his 6.7 yards per attempt is the best in program history.
– NC State’s tight ends have seven receiving touchdowns this season, which is tied for the best mark in the FBS (Missouri and New Mexico). Senior Justin Joly has five, while seniors Cody Hardy and Dante Daniels have one apiece. The position group ranks fifth among Power Conference units with 40 total receptions this fall.
