NC State is back at Carter-Finley Stadium for the second straight week after the Wolfpack beat East Carolina 24-17 to open the 2025 campaign last Thursday night. Now, the Pack welcomes Virginia to town for a non-conference clash between the two ACC squads.

Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on ESPN2. NC State is a 3-point favorite, according to BetMGM.

NC State PK Kanoah Vinesett, who was the second-string last week, is taking pregame warmups with the first-team field goal unit.

He was 18-of-24 with a long from 52 last fall as the Pack’s starter.

Students are filing in

The Wolfpack’s student section gates are open. NC State’s young faithful are filing in behind Virginia’s bench. It’s early, but the crowd appears to be smaller than it was for the opener against East Carolina in the student section. This game, however, is a sell out and the building is expected to be full by kickoff.
