NC State wrestling preview: Weight-by-weight roster breakdown going into 2025-26 season

Coming off its highest NCAA finish since 2021 with an eighth place showing, expectations are high for the NC State wrestling program which returns multiple national title contenders. The potential starting lineup features a returning national champion in Vince Robinson at 125 pounds, four All-Americans -- Robinson, Ryan Jack, Matty Singleton and Isaac Trumble -- and five wrestlers ranked in the preseason top 10 in their weight class.  Here's a look at each weight going into the Wolfpack's 2025-26 season opener as Northern Colorado visits Reynolds Coliseum on Saturday night (6 p.m., ACCNX).
