No. 5 NC State women’s basketball is back inside Reynolds Coliseum tonight. After winning the Paradise Jam title in the U.S. Virgin Islands last week, the Wolfpack returned home for an ACC/SEC challenge showdown with Vanderbilt.
The Commodores and NC State are both undefeated this year at 7-0. After defeating Northern Iowa 68-64 in its previous matchup, the SEC program will face by far its most imposing test of the season against the Pack Tuesday evening.

NC State vs. Vanderbilt game notes
*** The Pack won each its three games at the Paradise Jam by more than 18 points, punctuated by a 78-60 win over Colorado, the No. 3 team in the country at the time.
*** This is the Wolfpack’s second-consecutive season playing Vanderbilt. NC State defeated the SEC program 82-73 last year in the Cancun Challenge. The Pack leads the all-time series between these two squads 6-2. Vanderbilt last defeated NC State in 2009.
*** Graduate guard Jordyn Cambridge and junior forward Sacha Washington lead Vanderbilt in scoring, averaging 14.7 and 14.9 points per game, respectively. They also pace the team in rebounds. Cambridge leads the Commodores with 8 boards per game, and Washington follows closely at 7.9.
