After spending his first two seasons in the NFL either on a practice squad or as a special teams player, NC State Pack Pro linebacker Drake Thomas worked his way up the Seattle Seahawks’ depth chart this offseason.

Finally, after grinding his way just to stick to an active roster, the former undrafted rookie free agent is in a critical role. He played a career-most 57 total snaps in the Seahawks’ 44-13 win over the New Orleans Saints, and in turn, was rewarded with a career-best five total tackles in the victory.

Before this past weekend, Thomas hadn’t played more than 30 snaps in an NFL game. But as he has established himself as one of the team’s top WILL linebackers, Thomas has been trusted with more of a workload in Seattle. It paid off as he flew around the field to make several stops, four of which were solos, to knock off the Saints with ease.

Thomas’ previous career-best single-game tackles mark was three and he never had more than one solo stop in any game, but he was able to blow that out of the water in the Seahawks’ blowout victory.

While Thomas posted his best professional performance, he wasn’t the only Pack Pro in action this past weekend. Here’s a look at all of NC State’s former players in the NFL and how they did with their respective teams in Week 3.
