NC State wasn’t happy with its performance a year ago. The Wolfpack went 6-6 before it lost to East Carolina in the Military Bowl. It will be hungry to right the ship after just its third losing season in Dave Doeren’s first 12 years on campus. What happened in the previous two years that NC State was coming off a losing campaign, you may ask? The Wolfpack won at least eight games. It will take some work, but NC State could find itself back in that trend this fall if it has improved play on both sides of the ball.
