NC State basketball returned to the win column with its 75-63 victory over UNC Asheville to snap a two-game losing streak. Now, the Wolfpack is looking to carry that momentum forward after its 6-3 start to the Will Wade Era.

The Wolfpacker Show is back to talk about the team’s start to the 2025-26 season, while also checking in on a critical 2026 five-star recruit the program is in pursuit of.

On this episode:

– It’s been an up-and-down start to the season for NC State men’s basketball. Rivals Senior National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw joins the show to talk about what he’s seen from the Wolfpack so far through the first nine games this season.

– Wade isn’t one to hold back. He’s an honest coach, and that didn’t change this week with a colorful pregame interview. Jamie touches on why that personality is important for Wade and instilling his culture at NC State.

– While the Wolfpack is working through a rocky start to the season, which featured a 1-2 showing at the Maui Invitational the week of Thanksgiving, McNeese transfer guard Quadir Copeland has been a critical part of the Pack’s efforts. He’s second in scoring with 14.4 points a night, while leading the team with 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals. He’s also shooting 60 percent from the field, which is the third-best mark of the team’s go-to rotation players. Jamie talks about why he’s been an impactful piece of the team thus far.

– Before Jamie left the show, he broke down the latest he’s hearing on Brooklyn (N.Y.) Blair Academy five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. NC State is in hot pursuit, but so are a couple other high-major programs. Where does the momentum sit? He explains.

– Once Jamie’s segment is over, Noah points out the upcoming key events around NC State Athletics and what’s on the horizon for TheWolfpacker.com’s coverage of them.
