NC State put itself back in the win column Saturday afternoon with a 45-7 win over VMI. After the Pack moved to 2-1 on the season, The Wolfpacker Show hosts Noah Fleischman and Ethan McDowell sat down to talk about the victory.

During the matchup, NC State averaged 6.5 yards per play offensively. The Pack defense and special teams bolstered that effort with touchdowns of their own as well.

NC State held VMI to just 15 yards rushing, but the team also allowed a couple of busted coverages that could have led to huge gains for the Keydets. The win was not perfect, but the program took strides in several key areas.

“I would say I’m probably one of the more confident dudes on the team, but I don’t always just say it, it’s kind of in me,” Kennedy said. “It obviously builds confidence, but to be honest, I’m a ‘want more’ type of person. One-and-a-half [sacks], why can’t that be three? And then one pick, why can’t it be two or three? I just feel like I’m a ‘more’ type of person, so it could always be more.”
