Transfer impact analysis: What UNC F Ven-Allen Lubin’s addition means for NC State

It’s not the usual transfer, but in today’s era of players moving flipping sides of a rivalry around the country, it was bound to happen in the Triangle. North Carolina transfer forward Ven-Allen Lubin became the first to transfer from the Tar Heels to NC State in program history.  Lubin, a rising senior, is one of Will Wade’s final additions to the Pack’s 2025-26 roster as he brings a unique skill set to Raleigh. He was celebrated for wearing Carolina Blue in Chapel Hill this past season, but now he will don the Wolfpack’s red and white for his final year of eligibility.
