‘We’ve got to play to a certain standard’: NC State receives full Will Wade experience in blowout win over NC Central

It took less than four minutes for Will Wade’s face to get as red as the shirts that the rowdy NC State fans were donning inside the sold-out Lenovo Center. He wasn’t pleased with a call on the floor, and well, he made sure official Ryan Sassano knew as the first media timeout approached.  Wade, who was looking to make a statement in his Wolfpack debut via a 114-66 win over NC Central on Monday night, continued to ride the officiating crew when he felt like it was needed. It didn’t matter if it was a 10-point game or a 55-point advantage in the second half, Wade appeared to be coaching as if the Pack was playing for a trip to the Final Four in its season opener.
