What ‘26 PF Annsley Trivette’s commitment means for NC State

After a slow-moving summer in the transfer portal, NC State women’s basketball kicked off its 2026 recruiting cycle with an underrated commitment from Abingdon (Va.) forward Annsely Trivette.  Trivette, who also took official visits to Wake Forest and Virginia, picked the Wolfpack on Monday afternoon to close her recruitment ahead of her senior season. Although she isn’t currently ranked, Trivette is a unique player for the Wolfpack to begin building its 2026 class around. Here’s what Trivette’s commitment means for NC State moving forward.
