NC State coach Will Wade arrived in Raleigh with the reputation of being one of the top recruiters in all of college basketball. He put it on display with his first recruiting class, a two-man group that finished No. 13 in the 2025 cycle. Now, it’s back in full force to kick off the 2026 iteration of the Wolfpack’s next generation on the hardwood. NC State earned a commitment from Paso Robles (Calif.) SoCal Academy four-star center Trevon Carter-Givens, the No. 108 player in the nation, on Thursday afternoon as he became the Pack’s first pledge of the next class.  Let’s take a look at what Carter-Givens’ commitment means moving forward in Raleigh.
