What I’m hearing: Where NC State stands with 4-star S Cortez Redding as commitment date approaches

Since the second NC State co-defensive coordinator Charlton Warren set foot on campus in January, the Wolfpack has been in the mix with Jonesboro (Ga.) four-star safety Cortez Redding.  The two have a tight-knit bond. Warren and Redding’s mother went to high school together, helping form a pathway for NC State to enter the mix for the standout defensive back. That was key in allowing the Wolfpack to make Redding’s top four, but where do things stand now with his decision approaching Friday?
