NC State offensive coordinator Kurt Roper cut his teeth in the coaching profession by helping develop then-Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning. The signal-caller went on to have a successful NFL career as a two-time Super Bowl champion, but his relationship with his former quarterbacks coach has only grown stronger over the years.  It paid off this summer as Wolfpack sophomore quarterback CJ Bailey was invited to the Manning Passing Academy, a three-day event on the campus of Nicholls State, in late June. The weekend brings the top college quarterbacks from all over the country together to compete against each other, while also serving as camp counselors for high school players.  Bailey, whose invitation was a phone call from former New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning, seemed to enjoy his stay at the academy.
