Shortly after beating Ole Miss by 14 to close the non-conference slate, NC State coach Will Wade was asked if he was relieved by earning a high-major win before moving onto ACC play.  And, well, he answered it the only way he could. “There’s no relief,” Wade said bluntly. “We’ve got 18 league games and zero relief. We’ve got to play better than we played today. We’ve got to get better every day. I’m happy we won, it’s great, but when we get back on the 26th, we’ve got massive amounts of work we’ve got to do. We’ve got massive amounts of improvement that we have to make.” NC State’s (9-4) league opener is fast approaching on New Year’s Eve as Wake Forest will visit the Lenovo Center, and the Wolfpack is focused on making the needed changes to set itself up for success in the next calendar year. But before then, here are eight things we learned from the Pack’s first non-conference slate under Wade.
