Where NC State’s center competition between Jalen Grant, Spike Sowells stands as fall camp begins

For the first time this summer, the grass fields next to Carter-Finley Stadium were littered with NC State helmets and jerseys running around. The Wolfpack’s preparations for the 2025 campaign resumed Wednesday morning.  And with that comes competition.  The Pack is excited about several position battles that are set to take place on the two fields separated by about 20 yards from each other, but one of them will be a critical spot to focus on in camp: Center.
