AUBURN, Ala. — NC State coach Will Wade was demonstrative on the Wolfpack’s sideline for most of the night, but when he walked into the media room inside Auburn’s Neville Arena, the passionate coach took a big-picture view with his postgame thoughts.  Despite the Wolfpack losing 83-73 at the 20th-ranked Tigers, which held his high-flying offense to its season-low point total, Wade felt like his team was headed in the right direction after the ACC-SEC Challenge matchup. He believed this wasn’t the same squad that went 1-2 at the Maui Invitational a week ago.
