Why NC State was the right fit for Northwestern transfer LB Kenny Soares Jr.

As Northwestern transfer linebacker Kenny Soares Jr. was looking for a new program to call home, one prospective coach was seemingly calling him at every chance he could: NC State assistant linebackers coach Isaiah Moore.  It didn’t matter the day or what was going on outside of recruiting, Moore made himself a constant presence within Soares’ portal recruitment. It appeared as if the former All-ACC linebacker wasn’t going to let the redshirt junior slip out of the Wolfpack’s fingertips.  And, well, it worked out.
