Notre Dame has set the date for its annual spring scrimmage. It’s in the usual late April window.

The 2023 Blue-Gold Game will be held Saturday, April 22 at Notre Dame Stadium and will be streamed on Peacock. Fighting Irish TV will have the game broadcast available to watch on demand after the scrimmage ends.

Tickets for the game go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. ET. They can be purchased at UND.com/BuyTickets or by calling 833-NDIRISH. Kickoff time, additional ticket information and more details about Blue-Gold Game weekend will be released at a later date. Last year’s game kicked off at 1 p.m. ET.

The 2022 Blue-Gold Game wasn’t just a scrimmage for the football team. Marcus Freeman turned that weekend into a reunion for former players and welcomed nearly 300 back on campus for it. Former Irish offensive lineman Hunter Bivin, then the program’s director of player development, led the efforts to invite football alumni back. Bivin now works as the assistant athletic director for alumni engagement.

Quarterback Steve Angeli’s touchdown run as time expired gave Gold a 13-10 win in last year’s game.
