It’s going to be difficult for Notre Dame to go much longer than a week this fall without facing a game-changing, Heisman-level player, whether that’s at quarterback, another skill positions or up front. The 2022 slate is loaded with some of the nation’s top talent, providing a daunting challenge for head coach Marcus Freeman in his first season.  After a look at the offensive side of the ball on Monday, here is a look at the best defensive players at each position on the Irish slate this fall.
