Other notes

• Defensive tackle Howard Cross III, a starter each of the first four games, was inactive with an ankle injury.

• Cross’ absence and defensive tackle Jacob Lacey’s departure from the team this week led to a career-high in snaps for Rubio.

• Bertrand, a three-game starter, did not play until the second half because of a targeting ejection Sept. 24 vs. North Carolina.

• This was the first game where Bracy didn’t lead the defense in snaps. He left late in the game with an injury.
