It’s not unheard of, but you don’t see it every day: twin football players looking to play together at the next level. Notre Dame welcomed a pair in that situation — 2024 defensive linemen Jacob and Jerod Smith out of Windsor (Conn.) The Loomis Chaffee School — for Tuesday’s cookout recruiting event. BlueandGold.com spoke with Jacob Smith after the twins departed South Bend, but he indicated both rising juniors enjoyed their time on campus.
