COLUMBUS — Ohio State is set for its annual spring game on Saturday.

Lettermen Row has live updates of the spring scrimmage. Follow along here!

SECOND QUARTER

HALFTIME: Defense leads offense 17-13.

+ Julian Sayin was picked off by Jaylen McClain on a poor throw to the sideline from the opposite hash. That’s a freshman mistake from Sayin, and a good play by McClain.

+ What a drive by Devin Brown. He threw a rope to David Adolph and then threw a nice touchdown pass over the middle. It’s 13-12, offense after the first touchdown of the day.

+ Gray scores three to make it 12-6 defense. Calvin Simpson-Hunt had a pass from Lincoln Kienholz hit him directly in the numbers. That was a bad throw.

+ Offense stalled in the red zone. Three throws to the end zone come up empty, and Jayden Fielding hit his second field goal, this from 32 yards out, of the afternoon. It’s 9-6.

+ Emeka Egbuka had an insane catch on the sidelined. Pawed it with one hand for a flashy grab. Offense is moving the ball well here with Will Howard at quarterback against the first-team defense.

FIRST QUARTER

+ The defense won the first quarter, 9-3.

+ The first two drives resulted in punts. The first drive — which featured the first-team offense and Will Howard at quarterback, moved the ball before a punt. The second drive featured Lincoln Kienholz and didn’t move the ball as much. Punt.
