COLUMBUS — Cade Stover was on his way to an Atlanta hospital after suffering a back injury in the first quarter. Fellow Ohio State tight end Gee Scott Jr. was already sidelined. And so Joe Royer was called upon in the Peach Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal.
