2027 LB Jiyez Fleming commits to Ole Miss

2027 Oxford (Ala.) linebacker Jiyez Fleming has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on Sunday evening after his visit for the Arkansas game. He’s the third commitment for the Rebels in the 2027 class.
“For first in for most, just want to say thanks to god, my coaches, my teammates and family,” Fleming tweeted. “That being said will be committing to the University of Mississippi.”
On his visit, he picked up an offer from the Rebels. Ole Miss joined programs like Southern Miss, South Alabama, Tulane and others with offers on the table.
His experience in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium stood out to him in a big way, he told Rebel Grove. Ole Miss was his first SEC offer and that stood out to him as well.

“The game was electric,” Fleming said. “Love the atmosphere, loved the fans and only good vibes and love from the coaches. I feel like the offer was the icing on the cake. Now ,it’s time to work and to show all the other SEC schools why they shouldn’t have counted me out.”
He’s ready to start building the 2027 class for Ole Miss even more.
“Just felt like that was home and so I just thought in my head that I need to go ahead and get it started and start my own brand,” Fleming said. “The coaches showed the most love every (time). That being said, the ‘Sip is the crib. HOTTY TODDY.”
Flemings joins four-star defensive lineman JaMarkus Pittman and four-star defensive back Trae Collins as commitments in the class.
