2026 Lincoln City (Ind.) Heritage Hills athlete Jett Goldsberry has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on Monday on Rivals. The four-star prospect was wow on his official visit that sealed his commitment to the Rebels.

“I really love the past couple seasons of football there. The coaches are top tier in Lane KiffinPete Golding and Wes Neighbors. I just love the culture,” Goldsberry said before announcing his pledge. “Also, just the way the vibe and energy feels here and how close together the staff is. Everything here is just very put together and has a good structure to it.”

Rivals ranks him as the No. 15 overall athlete in America and the third-ranked prospect in Indiana. Goldsberry joins a stacked group of Midwest prospects committed to the Rebels, including four-star tight end JC Anderson and three-star EDGE Carmelow Reed.

Goldsberry visited the likes of Purdue, the first school to offer him and his father’s alma mater, as well as programs like Rutgers, West Virginia, Wake Forest, North Carolina and others.

Getting around the players on his official visit to Ole Miss stood out in a big way.

“The players love the town of Oxford and where they live, they take pride in the Square, Jackson Avenue and University Avenue,” Goldsberry said. “This team is also structured right and are great people to be around. They love Ole Miss.”

Goldsberry enjoyed getting a good look at Oxford, where he’ll be playing his college ball now.

“Just the apartments, more about campus, how the players like it. Just base stuff that’s good to know,” he said. “Just being able to walk around the Square and campus. That was a lot of fun. My town is just like that, a small town feel.”

Head coach Lane Kiffin and safeties coach Wes Neighbors built strong bonds with him, which helped his decision as well.

“They want me and he (Kiffin) is glad that I got to come on the visit and hopes to see me in the Red and Blue,” Goldsberry said after his visit. “I love coach Neighbors. He’s a great dude and he said he loves the way I play and really wants me there.”

Goldsberry had a terrific junior season. He threw for 1,807 yards and 26 touchdowns to just four interceptions with another 1,676 rushing yards and 28 more scores. A three-year starter on defense, where Ole Miss is recruiting him, Goldsberry has 212 career tackles four forced fumbles and three interceptions.

Goldsberry finished as a state placer in the 215-pound weight class in wresting and also shines in track and field.
