4-star Ole Miss OT target Emanuel Tucker decommits from Mississippi State
Ole Miss is making a strong push for 2026 New Albany (Miss.) offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker, and now the four-star has backed off his Mississippi State commitment.
Ole Miss got him on campus last weekend and immediately, he opened things up. Is that a sign of things to come for the Rebels? Stay tuned.
Prior to his visit to Oxford last weekend, the plan was for LSU to host him June 6 and Mississippi State, where Tucker committed in January, to host him June 20.
The 6-foot-7, 285-pound Tucker is Mississippi’s No. 7 overall recruit in his class, according to On3. He’s ranked as the 146th player in the nation, as well as the No. 13 offensive tackle.
Tucker has made multiple visits to Ole Miss. He was also in Oxford for ‘Meet the Rebels’ in April. Offensive line coach John Garrison brought sixth-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin along for a face-to-face pitch following one of Tucker’s basketball practices in January.

On3 recruiting analyst Cody Bellaire is a fan of Tucker’s raw power in particular. Garrison has been making a big push for Tucker.
“Now that we have some junior film and transition full-time to offensive tackle, I think we feel a lot more comfortable where his future home is,” Bellaire told the Ole Miss Spirit. “He’s got nearly a 140-foot discus throw (and) can really, really move.
“It’s really fun to watch his tape. There’s some obvious rawness to his game, new to the position and that’s expected. Hand placement, timing, understanding leverage in pass pro. But the raw power combined with the athleticism with his pure mass, that’s really hard to find.”
The Rebels have a Top 25 2026 recruiting class and are looking to surge for more top Ole Miss targets.
