4-star OT Emanuel Tucker flips from LSU to Ole Miss

Ole Miss flipped 2026 New Albany (Miss.) four-star offensive tackle Emanuel Tucker from LSU on Friday, he told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. It’s a massive addition to get the in-state target flipped from the Tigers.
Tucker was a one-time Mississippi State pledge, but backed off his commitment this summer following his Ole Miss official visit. Instead of committing to the Rebels at the time, he pledged to LSU.
Ole Miss continued to make him a priority over the months. Getting him in Oxford last weekend for the season opener against Georgia State was a step that resonated with Tucker and it paid off with a flip. For the Rebels, they needed a offensive tackle in the class as prior to Tucker’s commitment, South Florida lineman Ryan Miret was the lone offensive line commit.
He’s been high on the offense Lane Kiffin & Co. run for a while now.
“My favorite thing was how they ran their offense,” he said this summer. “It’s something I’m really interested in and would love to be a part of.”
The 6-foot-7, 285-pound Tucker is Mississippi’s No. 8 overall recruit in his class, according to Rivals. He’s ranked as the 206th player in the nation, as well as the No. 19 offensive tackle.

Discuss the newest Ole Miss Rebel on the Rebel Grove message board.
On3 recruiting analyst Cody Bellaire is a fan of Tucker’s raw power in particular. He talked up how he looked as a junior and is hoping for a strong showing as a senior.
“Now that we have some junior film and transition full-time to offensive tackle, I think we feel a lot more comfortable where his future home is,” Bellaire said. “He’s got nearly a 140-foot discus throw (and) can really, really move.
“It’s really fun to watch his tape. There’s some obvious rawness to his game, new to the position and that’s expected. Hand placement, timing, understanding leverage in pass pro. But the raw power combined with the athleticism with his pure mass, that’s really hard to find.”
The Rebels have a Top 25 2026 recruiting class and are looking to surge for more top Mississippi targets.
