Ole Miss athletics continuing capital campaign (CHAMPIONS. NOW.) with new timeline

The college athletics landscape is experiencing dramatic changes, and Ole Miss is altering the timeline of its capital campaign (CHAMPIONS. NOW.) as a result.
The campaign is moving forward with several large projects on the docket. However, among those objectives, one significant change is delaying construction plans at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The extensive overhaul of the Manning Center is well underway.
“While the timeline is being adjusted, we look forward to seeing Vaught-Hemingway and the rest of our facility progress all become reality in the years ahead,” said Keith Carter, Ole Miss Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics.
“College athletics has seen tremendous priority shifts in recent months which affect our campaign strategy. Those changes are coupled with global financial obstacles related to interest rates, construction costs, supply chains, etc.
Champions. Now. launched January 1.
It’s already generated $40 million in donations. However, the Manning Center is the only project that has seen the most progress made since the campaign started.
Ole Miss released a video walk-through of the Manning Center that showed renderings of what the new building will look like on the outside and in every room on the inside.

“A championship team needs championship facilities, and this campaign is a huge step in advancing our program to the next level,” said Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin in a statement earlier this year.
“I appreciate the commitment of our university leadership to provide facility enhancements necessary to compete at a high level and attract the nation’s top recruits. I look forward to seeing Rebel nation step up to the plate and help this team continue to reach new highs.”
The $350 Million CHAMPIONS. NOW. capital campaign is set to include myriad renovations across campus.
Among them: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford-University Stadium, completely overhauling the softball stadium, a golf complex at the Ole Miss golf course and renovations to the Ole Miss soccer complex.
