With the 2025 college football season just weeks away the sportsbooks in Las Vegas are starting to awaken from their offseason hibernation and Ole Miss already has a few Southeastern Conference game odds.

The eight-game SEC schedule remains the same for all 16 teams with the only change being the home and away matchups are flipped from a season ago.

So, the key games for the No. 15-ranked Rebels also remain the same and two of those SEC contests already have early odds set at BetMGM.

The two games already up on the board is the home game against No. 9 LSU on September 27 and the road trip to Athens against No. 4 Georgia on October 18.

Ole Miss is projected to split those two games, based on BetMGM’s current odds. The Rebels are currently 1.5-point favorites over the Tigers but find themselves 10.5-point underdogs against the Bulldogs.

Last year the Rebels fell to LSU in Baton Rouge but then responded with a victory over Georgia in Oxford nearly a month later.

Ole Miss will hit SEC games a little earlier on the schedule in 2025, traveling to Lexington for what some might view as a revenge game against Kentucky in week two followed by hosting Arkansas the following Saturday.

This is a change of pace from last Fall where the Rebels played all four of its non-conference games to open up the season.

“I feel like it creates a different mindset just being able to know what you have to win earlier. You have to win sooner,” Cayden Lee said last month of the schedule. “You have to win more often. Then just having to play four non-conference games at the beginning, it’s kind of tough. I would rather kind of get into it a little bit earlier.”

The only other game with odds that features Ole Miss is its season opener against Georgia State on August 30. The Rebels are heavy favorites with the current odds from BetMGM sitting at -39.5.

When it comes to the SEC Championship odds the Rebels are sixth at +1600 behind Texas (+250), Georgia (+300), Alabama (+475), LSU (+750) and Texas A&M (+1400). They also still have the seventh best odds of winning the CFP national title at +2500.

BetMGM also has Ole Miss with +2000 odds of earning the No. 1 overall seed in the College Football Playoffs which is tied with LSU for the ninth best odds.
