Bellaire enrolled a semester early, graduating high school and joining the team in January. The Lutz, Fla. native appeared in 13 games, making five starts at catcher. She went 3-for-5 from the plate this season, scoring one run with two strikeouts.
The Ole Miss softball program broke through this season with its first trip to Oklahoma City and the Women’s College World Series. After getting through the Tucson Regional as the 2 Seed then beating No. 4 National Seed Arkansas in three games the Rebels experienced their first taste of playing for the national championship.
