Jon Gruden shouts out Giants QB Jaxson Dart for TD pass

Former NFL head coach and Super Bowl Champion Jon Gruden shouted out New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart for his touchdown pass on Saturday. He put the Giants up 14-6 with his pass to tight end. Greg Dulcich.
“Jaxson Dart continues to sling it!,” Gruden tweeted.
Earlier this month, Dart sent Gruden an autographed jersey of his. Dart spent time with Gruden this offseason, including at his Gruden’s QB Class.
Dart made his NFL preseason debut last weekend in the Giants 34-25 win over the Buffalo Bills, playing a portion of the first quarter and all of the second before coming out of the game following halftime.

He finished with 154 passing yards and a touchdown, completing 12 of 19 pass attempts. The touchdown was a 29-yard strike to Lil’Jordan Humphrey. Dart also led the Giants in rushing with 24 yards on three carries, including a familiar sight to Ole Miss fans with a 19-yard run up the middle.
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was happy to see Dart succeed in his season-opener.
“Yeah, we pulled those up when we got done, and I talked to him last night,” Kiffin said on Monday. “So that was awesome to see. He’s doing really well and played well, and he’s really enjoying it. Talked about his relationships with the other quarterbacks there. I shared that with our quarterbacks today about how a united room, helping each other can be so beneficial. It’s great to see him play well.”
