LSU DB transfer Sage Ryan visiting Ole Miss

LSU defensive back transfer Sage Ryan is visiting Ole Miss on Friday, On3’s Pete Nakos reported. The Rebels are continuing to look at defensive backs to bring in for the 2025 season.
Ole Miss already has commitments from Arkansas transfer defensive back Jaylon Braxton and Auburn transfer defensive back Antonio Kite.
Ryan is a redshirt junior who has been a multi-year contributor for the Tigers. He played in a ton of games at multiple positions for the program and could be a good depth piece for the Rebels. LSU head coach Brian Kelly spoke about his versatility before the season.
“We’re cross-training him,” Kelly said. “We wanted the entire spring to be safety and now, we’re going to be getting that cross-training. We feel like he’ll become that one player that can play both positions for us.”
