Ole Miss at Kentucky odds: Early point spread updated, How to Watch

The Ole Miss Rebels head to Kentucky on Saturday in a 2:30 p.m. CT matchup on ABC. The early point spread via BetMGM was revealed and Lane Kiffin’s squad is a 9.5-point favorite. The total is set at 52.5 points.
83 percent of the early bets are on the Rebels as both teams look for their first SEC win of the 2025 season.
Saturday night in Oxford, the Rebels opened the season with a 63-7 win over Georgia State in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Meanwhile, Kentucky squeaked by Toledo, 24-16.
Last season though, Kentucky’s 20-17 victory over No. 6 Ole Miss was the team’s lone conference win of the season. It also scuttled Kiffin’s hopes of a College Football Playoff berth as the Rebels finished 9-3 in 2024.
Kiffin was proud of how his team performed in the season opener. Ole Miss rolled up nearly 700 yards of offense as the new-look skill positions all made a positive impact offensively.
“Thought our guys did a really good job today,” Kiffin said. “I don’t take for granted these types of games. You know, maybe sometimes some people do, and fans, especially, understand that Georgia State is a much-improved player-wise from what they added in the portal, and they beat Vanderbilt last year. So, you know, to play 63-7, so what is that, 46-0 run after they scored. So, when you play 46-0 football, you’re doing a lot of things really well on offense, defense, and special teams. So, really pleased by the offensive balance, 695 yards and 295 on the ground in a game that only had two returning starters on offense and two on defense. I thought our defense did really well outside of one play, but we got a lot to work on, too. You know, we had the two turnovers, and we have to tackle better.

“So, obviously, we have a huge challenge next week. So I’m excited to go back to work with these guys, and I think you saw a team that’s got a chance to be good. You know, you look around the country and a lot of times these games, you know, are one- two score games and stuff. So, I was really pleased with that. I’m pleased with how our team played pretty clean today. So, good start.”
Kentucky outlasted Toledo 24-16 to open the 2025 season, but it wasn’t pretty. The Rockets had 329 yards of total offense to the Cats’ 305. In his first game as Kentucky’s quarterback, Zach Calzada was 10-23 for 85 yards, one interception, and one rushing touchdown.
“Zach’s gotta hand the football off,” Mark Stoops said in his postgame press conference. “Bottom line, we had the edges protected. I think he got a little spooked, but we had it protected. You’ve just got to get some tough yards there.”
