Ole Miss baseball is heading to Athens, Ga., this weekend to take on No. 23 Georgia. The Rebels are currently 5-10 in the Southeastern Conference and 20-16 overall. The RPI is in the Top 30 and there are ample opportunities to boost the resume in the coming weeks.

On this episode of “The Flagship”, presented by College Corner, Greg Jones of LB’s Meat Market joins us to discuss his excitement around the all-of-a-sudden buzzing Ole Miss baseball team.

OMSpirit’s Ben Garrett previewed the weekend as well.

Mike Bianco is one win shy of 1,000 career wins heading into the weekend as well. He’s vying to become just the 21st active coach to reach 1,000 and the 98th all-time.

Bianco has led the Rebs to 18 postseason appearances over his 24 seasons, including the program’s first-ever national championship in 2022. Other accomplishments include eight Super Regional berths and a pair of College World Series trips.

Bianco’s the winningest coach in Ole Miss history. He’s third in the SEC in career wins.
