The college football season is just two weeks old but Ole Miss is already making preparations for its Spring sports, specifically baseball.

On Tuesday the Southeastern Conference released the full 2026 conference schedule with all 10 weekend series for the 16 teams. Just opponents and dates were announced.

Home series for Ole Miss include Kentucky (March 20-22), Mississippi State (March 27-29), LSU (April 10-12), Georgia (April 24-26) and Texas A&M (May 8-10).

The Rebels will play five of the Top 8 teams from last year’s SEC Standings, excluding themselves. A road trip to defending regular season champions Texas kicks off the conference season March 13-15. They do not play Vanderbilt or Auburn next season.

The Rebels are coming off a 2025 campaign that saw them return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years and host a regional for the first time in four years. They were a win away from reaching the Super Regionals.

Now the Fall semester is underway at Ole Miss and Fall ball practices are a little under a month away for the Rebels with a lot of key pieces returning. Will Furniss, Austin Fawley and Judd Utermark are all back for the 2026 season.

The headliner of the returners is ace pitcher Hunter Elliott back for a fifth season.

“I think Hunter loves it here. If he came back and pitched his redshirt junior year here, he would still have draft leverage,” Mangrum told Rebel Grove earlier this Summer. “I think that this is, he looks at Ole Miss like it is his place. Like he’s one of the better athletes and better pitchers to come through this program”
