Ole Miss basketball adds PWO center Davis Ambuehl to 2022 class
Southern California Academy (Calif.) center Davis Ambuehl announced on Monday he would be committing to Ole Miss as a preferred walk-on via his Instagram.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank my mom for always putting me in the best position to be successful. She’s my biggest supporter, my rock, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I would like to thank my dads, my brothers, and my entire family for being there for me every step of the way. I want to express my gratitude to Coach Julius Von Hanzlik for sticking with me through the hardships and pushing me to reach my highest potential and being more than just a coach. Thank you to the entire SCA organization and my teammates who continued to push me everyday.
With that being said I would like to proudly announce I have committed to Coach Davis and Ole Miss!!🔴🔵 GoRebels 🦈🦈 “
The 6-foot-11, 250 pound prospect originally from Palisades, Calif., played his senior season for Julius Von Hanzlik at SCA along with fellow 2022 signees Robert Cowherd and Amaree Abram. He previously announced on Twitter two weeks ago he was extended a preferred walk-on offer from head coach Kermit Davis and Nate Dye.
